When I think of “community” in 2019, I think of fortnite. The online game has taken over the narrative of social networks, where teens have said they see. Fortnite as a way for them to keep in touch with their friends.

A big benefit most players see is there are no-ads – it’s (currently) a non-intrusive way to speak with their friends and spend their spare time having fun on a game they enjoy.

People flock to the new and trendy but the grounding is fundamentally the same – create a sense of belonging and a cool community, and You’re already out in front.
